Transport Master Plan

The transport master plan defines the long-term goals and main directions for the development of the transport system of a city, region or country based on an in-depth analysis of its current state. The document establishes the priorities of transport policy in the field of urban mobility, targets for the efficiency of the transport complex and provides for systemic solutions to improve the current situation.

The overall objectives of strategy development are:

  • improving the quality of life of citizens

  • realization of transport potential of the territory

  • increased access to safe and quality transport services.

Transport planning is based on the assessment of territorial planning documents at all levels: region, city and district. During this process, infrastructure objects are considered in an interconnected way, which allows you to create a holistic system. Materials include both spatial solutions (changing the configuration of the road network, building new facilities, traffic management measures) and conceptual solutions (transport management models, administration approaches, etc.). A roadmap is being developed with the timing and cost of the activities. Mathematical modeling makes it possible to predict the development of the transport network, taking into account the impact of the proposed solutions. The result of transport planning is the coordinated development of transport systems and technologies in the context of urban planning activities.

Transport schemes and street design

A transport scheme is a plan that defines the organization of traffic and pedestrian flows along the entire length of the street. At the stage of pre-project preparation, an analysis of data on the movement of all categories of participants is carried out: motorists, pedestrians, passengers of ground urban transport, bicycle users and personal mobility equipment.

The transport scheme fixes the key parameters and configuration of the designed road network, including:

  • pedestrian crossings

  • bike lanes and bike paths

  • dedicated lanes for urban land transport

  • location of stops

  • parking spaces

  • infrastructure elements (navigation steles, bicycle parking).

Traffic management

The traffic management project plan defines measures to ensure the safety of vehicles and pedestrians on the road network.

The document includes

  • traffic management schemes with proposals for changing the speed limit, arranging public transport stops

  • layouts of traffic management equipment, such as road signs, markings, traffic lights

  • explanatory note justifying the proposed solutions.

Feasibility Study and Financial Modeling of Transportation Solutions

A feasibility study is a comprehensive analysis aimed at assessing the economic efficiency and feasibility of the proposed technical solutions. The main purpose of the feasibility study is to determine how profitable and feasible the project is in terms of economic indicators.

The key element of the feasibility study is the financial model, which allows:

  • establish the amount of funding required at various stages of the project

  • predict the payback period of investments

  • evaluate the possible financial result of the project

  • make decisions on the feasibility of investments.

Consulting and selection of IT solutions and equipment

Consulting in the framework of transport design includes the selection of technological solutions that correspond to the strategic goals of the development of the urban transport system. Choosing the right IT tools ensures long-term efficiency and sustainability of infrastructure projects. When preparing technical assignments, consultants assist in the selection of the most suitable solutions and contractors. The implementation stage is accompanied by quality control of the work performed.

The integration of modern technologies into urban infrastructure plays a key role in optimizing transport processes. The introduction of traffic management systems, intelligent transport systems and digital services improves traffic safety and the overall quality of the urban environment

Implementation of complex urban projects

Modern cities require comprehensive solutions in the field of transport and improvement aimed at improving the functionality and quality of the urban environment.

The street reconstruction program may include the following key stages

  • Development of a transport scheme and improvement concept: at this stage, existing transport, pedestrian and bicycle flows are analyzed, problems are identified. Proposals for traffic optimization and infrastructure improvement are being formed

  • Selection of a contractor: we assist in the selection of qualified performers for the development of design and estimate documentation. The experience and competencies of the contractor are taken into account, as well as its ability to meet the needs of a specific territory

  • Work performance control: at all stages of the project, contractors are monitored for compliance with the terms of reference, compliance with quality standards and deadlines

  • Selection of equipment and software: to increase the efficiency of the road network, it is proposed to introduce automated traffic management systems (ASUDD). This includes the selection of software and equipment for traffic light management, traffic monitoring and parking congestion

  • Creation of a system of urban navigation and design of infrastructure elements: the development of intuitive navigation and high-quality design of stops, bike parking and recreation areas makes the urban environment more accessible and convenient for all users

  • Architectural supervision: at the implementation stage, it is important to provide project support from the architects and authors of the concept in order to maintain compliance with the developed solutions and safety requirements.

Parking space management

We organize efficient parking spaces in cities, ensuring the convenience and safety of traffic.
